Leg Endurance: Beginner Exercise

Side step Skier Squats

SIDE STEP SKIER SQUATS

WHAT IT WORKS:

  • More muscles than the basic squat

  • Improves agility

WHO ITS FOR:

  • This exercise is great for beginners

  • This exercise is better for skier than for snowboarders

PROS:

  • Building on our squat strength, this exercise also strengthens the inner thighs and hips

CONS:

  • Might be too easy for experienced athletes

  • Helps us make turns and control direction changes
